Quote of the day.

“God is eagerly waiting for the chance to answer your prayers and fulfill your dreams, just as he always has. But he can't if you don't pray, and he can't if you don't dream. In short, he can't if you don't believe.” ― Jeffrey R. Holland

Need I say anymore? What I am striving to do.  Thank you Holland.

My Mom.

I am grateful for my Mother.  I am grateful for all she has done for me.  She has taught me so much, and I am happy that things are going so well with the wedding planning.  I have never seen someone sacrifice so much for her children.  She gives up so much, and she has been through things most people do not understand. I am grateful she came out of that, and that she could teach me things in my life I would not have learned otherwise.

My Man.

You might be asking yourself.  Who is this guy in the red shirt? That right there is my fiance.  He is so wonderful. He knows so much about me, and he realizes things about me that I don't even know about myself. He even took time out of his day to do a little photoshoot; and most importantly when he didn't really have time to.  I am so glad we are able to sacrifice for each other.  Him doing this for me, and I trying to get it done quickly so he can get back to his homework.  He is working so hard right now trying to get an internship, and I am excited for him to get one! He is always here for me and I am grateful that I now get to face this world with someone beside me.  We are both really busy this semester but we always try and spend a little bit of time together and help each other out.

Invited

I am so grateful for all the wonderful people in my life.  Taylor and I are expecting four hundred people at our wedding, and as I was writing out 250 invitations, I could not help but feel of the blessings the Lord has given me.  It has been  a busy day, but that moment of love I felt was a  great part of this fun filled day.  Only about one more month,  can't believe all I have to get done  before then,  but I know  i will get it done!

Crepe Love

After a long day of school and not feeling very well, Taylor and I walked over to Awful Waffle.  The sun was thankfully shining and the warm sun helped make this day awesome! After about ten minutes of looking over the menu we ordered a crepe with raspberries, cream cheese icing, and maple syrup.  It was actually really good.  This is the only place I know of where the raspberries are cheaper than the strawberries, and that is my favorite fruit! I am grateful for that.

Also, I am grateful for Jeffrey R. Holland.  Today in class, I listened to his firm and honest testimony of the Book of Mormon.  He is such a powerful man, and only makes me realize my own testimony of the Book of Mormon.  Reading his talks this week affirm to me the truthfulness of his words. What I have taken from his talks the most is the fact that we need to look forward in life.  Too often we are either looking back at our own mistakes or looking to the past as if the future will never be as good.  This is only true if we let that happen.  As I have faith in myself, Jesus Christ, and the Gospel, there is only one way to look--and that is forward.

Looking back.

Looking back, how could this past year have gotten any better? Maybe I struggled with school for a minute, or had a hard time finding a job, but ultimately both of those things worked out.  On top of that, my life turned into a literal fairytale.  What am I thankful for? I am thankful for the opportunity to learn about art, I am so grateful for the opportunity of going to London and being able to go abroad for the first time in my life.  I had to work really hard, but looking back it was such a rewarding experience.

I was able to spend time with Taylor in London, Portugal, Paris, and Italy.  I am one of the lucky girls to be proposed to in Hyde Park in London!!! It was the best weekend, and I am grateful for that.  I am grateful for the connection we have, and for the special weekend that was. I am so grateful to have been led to Taylor, and that I will be marrying him.  What a blessing, and I am so glad I have his support in life.

Maybe it's cheesy, but I am super grateful it worked out for us to take our engagement pictures in London and Paris.  The opportunity of a lifetime.  I am grateful for my time to grow as my self and to be able to push myself in art.  I have grown closer to Taylor because of the months we had to spend apart, but it brought us closer together.  I am grateful for that semester and I am grateful for hard times.  I am so grateful to Taylor, he always puts a smile on my face.
